Designs on Learning™, a Boston, USA-based educational enterprise with partners based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was founded specifically for high school students residing in the MENA region to gain admission to the best U.S. college for them and to thrive there. The significant differences in the educational system of the MENA region versus the educational system in the U.S. require that students from that region who wish to study at U.S. colleges get assistance tailored to their specific needs. No other enterprise provides this. Our Gulf-centered program makes Designs on Learning™ unique.

The byword for student success in choosing the right college is “fit”: 1) Does a specific institution of higher learning meet the student’s demonstrated ability and expressed interests? 2) Does campus life at the institution accord with the student’s expectations and preferences? 3) Lastly, and least importantly, is the school located in a region of the U.S. of interest to the student? Our approach is to emphasize points 1) and 2) above. We encourage students to be most flexible about 3): school location.

We will go over the finer points of each institution of interest to students and through a careful, tested process predict where students will not only be accepted but thrive.

We have advanced degrees from Harvard University, have taught there and have served in administration. We have deep expertise in the U.S. higher education industry. We have developed methods, grounded in the latest research, that raise the success rate of international students studying in the U.S., where the approach to learning can differ greatly from what these students may be used to. The key to success at a U.S. college is knowing precisely what is required of you in each course, when work is due, and how to get help when needed. We will make sure that happens for each student we select to work with.
